the multigender and nonbinary communities NEED to get better at listening to intersex people. intersex people are not “biologically nonbinary”. intersex people do not exist as a gotcha for debates about gender and sex. not all intersex people are “both” male and female. non-intersex people can’t identify as intergender. please consider us when you talk about your identities
to add onto this:
intersex is neither a “third sex” or a blend of male and female. there are many many intersex variations, and that can lead to different identities for different intersex people
but honestly. the idea you have in your head of “intersex = male AND female” is almost definitely wrong
some intersex people identify as their ASAB, some don’t, but it’s often complicated
you cannot transition to be intersex. you’re either born intersex or you’re not. I am not your nonbinary “transition goal”
Day 25: Hampton Harbour Sage. Testing out and swatching a new ink from Ferris Wheel Press. Love this shade of green because it isn’t too garish or loud. Green can be a tricky color. I feel like this and a sepia or brown ink would make a nature journaller swoon. I’ll have another color tomorrow and it’s a gooood one.
Click the link in the bio and use code JWA for a 10% discount. Thanks again to Ferris Wheel Press for the inks!
i’m evolved i think pda is actually a good and fine thing even when straight people do it but especially when gay people do. it’s nice to see love in public don’t be a hater grab a loved one and smooch them in line for your pretzel bites or something
Not if you’re taking up the whole sidewalk and blocking people’s egress.
Across Bristol pro-trans and anti-homophobe stickers have been covered by messages about Jesus, trans accomplices have responded with their own campaign of slaps. The person behind these Jesus stickers is a loud minority who quotes Leviticus to justify their bigotry, gatekeeping who they decide can be Christian and who is deserving of respect. While the majority of people in Bristol are supportive of the trans community and tear down most of his stickers before we even got to them.
Signed prints. PWYW $10+ signed prints on archival paper with matte finish. If a print you want is sold out, check the following week. The demand has been really high and for the time being I need to watch my paper stock lol but I do refresh the quantity after shipment, this will not be removed.
PWYW license (feel free to print for yourself, make stickers, etc. I only ask the art not be edited or used for profit, or if any money is exchanged that it goes toward mutual aid or local organizations for LGBTQIA+ communities.)
Threadless tees and more (80% of my portion goes to the National Center for Transgender Equality). I’ll add more later next week.
